Interesting history. I know I have circumvented the “permitting practice” whenever I could. The narrator states several times the reason for the sudden onslaught of the permitting process, my take is control, pure and simple, control and envy of what you have and may have and a way to tax and fee the ever-loving crap out of you. Yeap, I’ve watched quite a few of this fellas videos. They all have that, “gloom and doom; THEY are screwing with us” tone.
Not that I agree with a permit process, but I always heard it was due to making sure buildings were safe and sound.
Not that there has ever been someone that built things in a crappy manner…….
But sometimes I think folks are looking for a boogie man and this guy is one of them.
