25 years ago, i was in the hospital for observation, e.g. they were still trying to find out why I had lost 60lbs and was still losing weight. Then the nurse came in to take my vital stats and what ran through my mind was “Dear Penthouse, you’ll never believe what happened…” and I tented my hospital gown. I had to ask her to send in someone else to take my vitals because the numbers would all be terribly out of whack if she stayed and took them.
Two months ago when I was in the hospital I didn’t feel any qualms about standing naked in the triage room and casually asking the nurse if I should remove my 0-gauge prince albert, and then doing so without an embarrasment.
