    • But Irish, where were all the redheads? Those girls are always more fun, especially if they’re angry.

  1. Anyone else remember driving cars with three on the tree and NO power steering? Kids today faced with that wouldn’t know whether to shit or go blind.

    • Yes indeed. And roll up windows. No rear window defroster. No cruise control. No ABS. No windshield washer. No air conditioning. You were lucky to have a working heater.

And horror of horrors, no wi-fi! They’d be calling child protective services for sure when they found that out.

You had to be tough to be a Boomer. These pampered little puss-wads have no idea.

  2. 69 F100 in the sand, took the wheel outta my hands. I didn’t dare try and stop it. I got the truck stopped before it hit lock. Flat tracking on dirt roads in West Texas before class. 64 Olds Starfire with vacuum wipers, truck release and mix door. Slow down and the wipers slowed down too. Sounded like a truck pulling the parking brake when you turned on the heater. A couple rotted lines and no defrost or wipers. THAT trip home was long. Stop and wipe the inside with a gym sock and the outside with an ice scraper every couple miles. 74 Fury with those dippy fusable links. I got stuck on the side of the road a dozen times because of them. But that thing handled like a go cart, and watching the needle disappear off the speedo was intoxicating.

  3. Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry brought back many memories of my miss spent ute. Pierce arrow took out Tony Soprano, whoulda thunk it.

Should have ended video with the final scene from Dirty Mary though.

  4. We not only had the best cars and the best music but we also had the best movies! Bullitt, Vanishing Point, DMCL, Smokey and the Bandit. I could go on and on.
