    • It’s a modified BMW Isetta 300 Saloon bubble car. The front lights have been removed and a single light installed as per railway regulations.

  1. Yes, Igor. AWESOME, isn’t it?

A tiny gauge railway for the amusement of children. I cannot find a better use for an old Citroen.

  2. This week I saw a whole siding filled with empty 40-foot container cars. I counted 115 before the trees got in the way.

I’ve seen ore cars on sidings during the summer, grain cars during the winter, and specialty cars at various times, but never any shipping container cars.

Must mean the economynis just a-rip-roarin’…

  3. Cederq, speaking of armoured trains (the Putin photo), I’ve a request: will you post some pictures of the Russian and the German armoured trains of the Eastern Front? Please, there, I said it.

    • I’ve got paper photos of an armored train in Bosnia.

There’s a cute one where my LT was sticking his head out of a flower that came to be after a tank AT round blew through it.

I guess it wasn’t good at dodging incoming…

  4. The rusty ol’ Isetta carries more passengers than the multi-billion dollar California High Speed (choke, cough) Rail!!!!! Now that’s the progress in Progressive ideas.

  5. Would love to know where that streetcar was in Colorado. It looks more like something out of England.
