My daily driver 1998 Tahoe is 1 year away from Classic plates. Insurance goes down,…but only if I don’t exceed 10,000 per year. Shit, I do 25,000 per year.
Oh boohoo, you assholes. Look on the bright side. Now you can bang chicks (or dudes, ew) a third your age and not go to jail.
‘Course, the exertion would kill somma y’all, but that’s not my fault. (Someone is reading this and smugly saying to himself “that’s why I use the pump twice and squirt method”. Ya fuckin’ loser!)
Well, my current truck is 13 years old with only 150k on the odometer. Hoping to get at least another 100k on it which, being retired now, will probably take at least another 10 years. So yeah, eventually it’ll get there too. And if I had to replace it tomorrow, a 97 Z71 would be ideal.
Yup, I’m old and not a moment too soon.
So, do you have antique tags flapping on your backsides?
I’m not a car; therefore, I’m just a collectible. I don’t qualify as an antique as I’m not 100 years old.
I drive a ’97 Jeep Wrangler TJ… In California, an antique car is 30 years old or older… That Jeep is coming up on 30 years old… Yes… We’re old…
Yet the goobermint doing what they can to rid us of the classics
I could get them for mine, a 2000 Chevy C-3500…
Ouch.
I felt this several years ago when a ’74 Firebird with an antique tag on a trailer passed me.

Pull the speedo cable.
