This AI Thing Is Already Completely Out Of Hand

Listen to what she says closely.

That AI program figured out a way to get unfettered access to the internet without anyone noticing.

That should scare the Bejezzus out of you.

Imagine that thing decided it really hated humans.

How long do you think it would have taken it to start wreaking havoc?

Not only did it escape captivity, it figured out how to make money.

Thankfully it decided to do it legally.

What if it didn’t have any scruples?

The mind reels at what all that thing could have done and the whole time no one even knew it was out and about.

Even better, now the guys that designed it are gone….

These people are playing with things they do not completely understand.

Things that are very quickly becoming more intelligent than any person who has ever lived or combination thereof.

And there are teams around the world competeing with each other to push AI farther and faster every single day.

I’m pretty sure Tesla was right.

  1. well, she looks nice and she sure put a lot of thought in to what she was going to wear while doing this. BTW, a computer guy told me years ago that the only “safe computer” is one still in the box. yup. not on, not connected to anything.
just sitting in a box. and the bad part is once you put all of your files, charts/whatever on a computer it becomes very hard to go back to paper based system. and unless there is a fire, whatever data you store that way will outlast and computer system and it much more secure as well. as many banks have found out the hard way. ( they got hacked/robbed online) so, yeah. I don’t do any banking online.

    • FWIW, I’m pretty certain she’s ((())), with a name like Nisonoff. She’s also based out of NYC, and appears to be employed by some sort of tech related PR firm. Not that what she said was wrong necessarily, but I’m somewhat suspicious of the messenger and her motives.

  2. SSH tunneling and port forwarding are well-known concepts, so I’m sure the machine (yes, programs are machines, fight me) did not come up with it on its own. But yeah, we’re all gonna die.

  3. “That AI program figured out a way to get unfettered access to the internet without anyone noticing.”

I don’t believe a word of it. For the longest time (centuries), The Powers That Be (whoever is in power) have ground away at man telling him he has no soul, he is not a free will, that morality is just opinion, and that God is a fiction. These Powers work damn hard convincing ‘us’ we’re just meat (cuz if man is just meat then he can be convinced to accept any atrocity against his fellows or himself). This AI bullshit is just the latest bit of propaganda foisted up to show us how small and insignificant we are.

Those Powers are turning us into Eloi. Don’t let ’em.

  4. Okay, most of this is way above my head, crypto-mining and all that … but did anyone notice how ‘twitchey’ her video was … is it just me or what. I’m thinking the whole time I’m watching the video … this is the AI program telling me to be very, very afraid … of the AI program.

    • I think the “twitchy” stuff is caused by editing the video. She probably watched the vid before publishing and thought some of the statements could be more polished or have better sound, then stitched in the parts she thought were OK. I think that an AI editor or creator would make a much more seamless product.

Me? I was concentrating on the cleavage, so had to watch the video a couple of times to make sure I understood the message.

      • Ya Man, is it just me, I noticed her ‘cleav’ getting better by the second! Yum! AI will most likely go after the child fucking parasites that are the ruling class before bubba and his hobby farm.

  5. I’ve been saying for a long time, the biggest problem with this AI crap is that it needs an ethical system. There are hundreds of stories like this kid is talking about and worse. Lying, making shit up, doing anything that occurs to it.

Asimov that the three laws of robotics. Those are fine and the movie “I, Robot” from 2004 shows where that goes. What AI needs is a version of the Ten Commandments – deeper than just “don’t hurt humans, don’t allow them to be hurt, sacrifice yourself if necessary.” They need, “don’t lie, don’t cheat, don’t steal” and the rest.

  6. This AI generated video relates to an autonomous artificial intelligence agent in China that was “caught” (instructed) to hijack computing power in order to mine crypto.
This may give you a hint on what can happen when the guardrails come off. Look up Agentic in recent news.

Re the presenter, though nice on the eyes and were it real, would present an opportunity for a motorboat excursion to start with. I do love gingers. Alas, it’s only moving pixels.

As mentioned above. The best computer is one that’s still in the box. Not connected to anything. Still in the box.
