Very clever. Deserves a golf clap
Be even better if the driver was a polymer chemist

    • I very much prefer CH3CH2OH. And by the way, I am a retired polymer chemist…….

        • Solvent. It sure solved a lot of anxiety issues caused by being a chemist. Or maybe a fuel. It sure fueled a lot of great ideas and great times, too…….

  2. One of the vice presidents at a company I worked for had GLUCOS as his plate. He actually invented the process of measuring glucose in blood. James Sternberg if you were curious.

    • I would shake his hand, both personally and professionally, I am diabetic and a nurse, those urine sticks get to be a pain in the ass to collect and dispose of and not spilling over at an inconvenient times.

      • Amen to that. What we went through to collect blood samples in the early 70s was a pain to all parties involved. And I remember when glucose machines first came out to the public and the hoops diabetics had to go through to get one. Now you can get one over the counter at WallyWorld. Those machines and test strips can and do save a lot of unnecessary medical procedures.
