  1. and this is how we become a 3rd world shithole.
stupid fucks who should never be near any classroom teaching this nonsense
inside of 30 years, no one will know how anything works, let alone fix it.
I think it time I started teaching the grandson how to use machine tools
and welding skills. he is old enough now (12)
and math is what ? he already knows more about growing food than I did 10 years ago. wish I had more land to grow food on.

      • all thing being equal, I think I done well with what I have so far.
but, always willing to learn new or better ways of doing anything !
a year after starting out with the whole try to grow food bit.
I made my neighbor (a farmer) look bad. did the raised bed
way, added lot of used coffee grounds to the soil along with
horse shit and wood ash. I had tomato plants over 7 foot tall and loaded with fruit.
peppers where great as well. one problem was the carrots,
my dog slim found them and dug up everyone and he did
eat the lot. salad greens tasted better than any I ever bought before. and the cherry tomato’s where so sweet it was unreal.
I did have help though, back to basics book, a few books by other growers and seed savers. dave can read.
and I did the wood chip thing a long time ago. they work very well for walkways and also building up the soil.
add some old leaves chopped up by a mower and soon you have good soil to grow anything in.
don’t have to know everything, just where the book is on whatever I want to do next.

  2. I’m glad to see her saying this. I immediately have more in common with her than a teacher talking that crap. It’s completely, totally irrelevant to engineering and waste of the students’ time and money to talk about. The physical world doesn’t give a shit about your pronouns or your feelings. If you step off that roof it doesn’t matter who you are – you’re falling.

  4. Gonna take a generation to turn that tide, and lots of lead alchemy.
