I can’t think of any valid reason that the US has to get involved in defending Ukraine. Suppose Russia signed a treaty with Mexico, or more likely now, Canada, allowing the Russians to install military bases in that country, and possibly nuclear weapons? What would a strong, intelligent US government do? Exactly what the Russians are doing now, exactly what Kennedy did in 62. Stop it. And if invading Mexico or Canada was what had to be done, when negotiations fail, then invasion is last resort.

Correct me if I’m wrong…..but didn’t the USA CIA do something in previous years to unstabilize the Ukraine? Didn’t they install some dictator…..because he wasn’t a commie…but then he dictated?
Some folks can’t seem to grasp that just because we shouldn’t send US forces there under any circumstance, that doesn’t automatically make Russian military adventurism against a neighboring country any kind of good thing.
