This road train is what I came west with and now going back to the promised land with the same truckthat now has 270,000 miles on the original engine and trannyand the same travel trailer, but with a newer, sleeker cargo trailer. I will post that when I find a large lot to safely take a picture.

I get about 9 or 10 miles to the gallon when I have both trailers hooked up. I get about 13 miles with just my travel trailer. I don’t back up. I look for for RV parks that have pull throughs and wide gas stations and parking areas. It is the same principle as a set of doubles for a big rig which in one of my careers used to do on occasion. The cargo trailer I have now is a 4X6 and that trailer in my pic was a 5X8, I have downsized considerable in my household furniture and stuff, very refreshing and liberating.

Dunno where your promised land is, but please stay away from MN, IL and now WI.
My BIL moved from IL to WI to avoid high taxes, only to find out that WI taxes “other” income far more than IL. End result, screwed just about equally by either state, just in different areas (of the body I presume). MN is self explanatory, too many crazies in charge.
He’s headed to Wakanda, just slightly better than Easter MN.
Terrapod my friend is near the DL area. I did not visit this summer but will next summer. Beautiful state as long as you don’t have to live in the twin cities area.
