I Had To Check In On Big Country

The guy has been pretty quiet for a while so I decided to check on him.

I texted him and told him to blink twice if he was being held hostage in a North Korean whorehouse.

It didn’t take too long and he replied to me so he is indeed alive and kicking.

Apparently some lowlife tried to steal his vehicle and did a bunch of damage to it and he has been thrashing on it trying to get it back in working order, along with dealing with the Little Guy he wound up taking care of after the suicide of Gretchen’s daughetr.

he says the little guy is currently teething and that is obviously causing him some serious discomfort. I feel for him. Tooth pain is the worst.

So BC has replaced the back window in the vehicle and is now currently repllacing jacked up switches etec on the steering column. I can tell you from personal experience that that sucks bigly. Not something I would wish on anyone.

He is also still looking for work so he pretty much has his hands full. Eventually he will sit down and update everyone but I decided to do it first.

    • Indeed. Was starting to wonder what had him sidetracked. Knew of his vehicle issues (though not the full extent of what he was having to repair) and there had been a brief update from J3 in the comments over there that BCE was ok, just busy.

  1. Thanks for the update, I had been concerned.
Knew he had his hands full, hoping the best for him.

  2. Thanks for checking up on one of the members of this happy group of misfits. I feared Tiny had tracked his car burglar and was now dealing with the cleanup.

  3. Women say childbirth is the most pain we suffer. I think sharp teeth slowly working through baby gums might be worse. To live is to suffer. But steak later makes it worthwhile.

  4. I often think of BC, knowing some of the issues that he faced awhile ago. I sort of lost touch with following him, and am glad that he seems to be alive and doing the same thing that so many of us are facing.
Thank you for keeping us posted, and for reminding us that life goes on, no matter how hard it seems at times. Here is hoping for better days ahead for BC, and that he finds work that both is doing what he wants to do, and that pays what he is worth.
