As a lapsed Catholic who still keeps apprised of what the Church is doing, I am wholly unimpressed with the current pope. He is just a slightly less outspoken and obvious Marxist than his predecessor, so he is no good for The Church or it’s faithful.
Really, he’s just the latest iteration of institutional rot that has converged all of our institutions, and will only further damage the credibility and mission of Roman Catholicism. Regrettably, that damage will be allowed to play out, as there is no countervailing force (excepting God) to stop it from running it’s course.
Pretty good imitation of two funny men, but can he do the rolling hand stands, and keep those doeggies rollin. Does he live at 730 W. Addison as well because I would like to.
My initial though when he was made Pope was “born in Chicago Hell, he survived”.
Today: “he was born in hell because he is SATAN”.
