  1. #18 – Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz, namesake of the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, lead ship of the class. Before carrier operations, Nimitz had an extensive background in the Sub Service. Very well rounded sailor and a MASTER strategist.
Chester Nimitz was one of four men to be awarded rank of Fleet Admiral. The other three … William “Bull” Halsey, Earnest King, William Leahy.

    • In this particular photo, he still wears four stars, so is not a Fleet Admiral yet. Simply, Adimral.

    • Agreed, Claudia. I’m gonna say the movie is “The Professionals”.

“Yes sir, but in my case, an accident of birth. You’re a self-made man”.

  3. #16 For far away tyranny you want something more than a Ruger 10/22
#27 This actually happened during the war in Rhodesia. The Selous Scouts reported hearing bullets going over their heads and recovering AKs set to maximum range in the mistaken belief that it increased the power of the gun.

  4. RE; #32, that tour was my 1st concert as a wee lad! Still love me some Joe to this day. He and Don Felder in the Eagles rival any guitar tandem that ever trod the boards.

  5. The IDIOT in # 43 needs to be REPORTED to the Police Academy where he is being trained and then hopefully KICKED OUT
