With the exception of my Jeep’s 4.7L needing those pesky valve seats replaced, that engine is a peach! Tranny could use some maintenance, but it is at 249K right now.

I inherited a ’17 Nissan Titan, fancy truck, lots of power. Nowhere near as dependable as my ’98 F150 4.6/5 speed truck. The Ford’s got 176,000 miles on it, and other than basic maintenance stuff it’s required nothing but an AC compressor. My ’93 F150 went 280,000 miles before I gave it away (still runnin’ fine) to a friends kid who needed transport. It’s ugly as shit now but still goin’.
