That melodic line is pretty common. Listen to “Railroad Boy” by Government Mule. That style of music has made a comeback, though you wouldn’t know it from the pop charts. Looking for “American Roots Music” on YouTube will get you some of it, but you’ll have to ignore some junk too. I’ve mentioned Mean Mary before – worth a listen.

Well, since the Hollywood weenies have pretty much backed out of the 250th anniversary show, I’ll bet there are plenty of Bluegrass and Appalachian musicians that would be glad to show their love for America there.
Don’t confuse loving America with loving Trump. The show was supposed to celebrate America. The performers dropped out when they found out it was going to be just another Trump rally.
Kim Jong Un doesn’t demand as much obsequious praise as our Dear Leader.
