If the feds force all digital U.S. currency, we are truly slaves. Everybody will have a card reader on their phone.
I have friends who do not have ANY physical cash on their person and have done so for some years. All money spent with on-line, direct deposit – payments. The most they have are gas cards. They are extremely trusting on their part and tell me their laziness is a virtue.

Same here. Most of my work friends carry no cash and depended entirely on cards. Now some have moved on to only phone-based transactions. These are people with at least one doctoral degree in Medicine or STEM (ie “smart”).
It seems to me that the more degrees you earn the stupider you get. Except for me. I was stupid before I got my degrees.
No more bank runs either.
