“Hey Kevin; As of Tuesday 6/16 it looks like “90 Miles from Tyranny” has been shut down too. The despots are tightening the screws on us.” A reader commented this morning and I went to check it out and lo and behold, gone as if it was a dust bunny sucked up by a vacuum.

    • We know who the despots and fucktards are by seeing who we aren’t permitted to make fun of or criticize.
      When they start another round of restrictions on attending church, going to bars or any public place, you know they will be knocking on doors to collect guns.

  12. Hopefully he had backups of his content. Setting up your own WordPress site isn’t hard or expensive. Just find a non-woke host (or, host it yourself) and restart.

  15. Not to be spending someone else’s money.
    It seams to me that there are enough of these free speech blogs that have been nuked off the internet to constitute a core group of content providers to start up and new place to replace blogger et al that will not censer our free exchange of ideas.
    I don’t know how the business model would be structured but there should be a way of providing a platform at a reasonable cost with/without a paywall (like substack perhaps) that we could keep the blue hairs and trolls out.

    Though some of you guys real good a flaming the trolls and I find great entertainment there in.

  17. Blogger has been making changes for awhile…. about a month ago, they successfully blocked `yt-dlp` from their site, and uncharacteristically, `yt-dlp` did not route around the problem, but ignored it.

    This trend is rife within the open source community now. Hope you’ve archived your OS before you lose control of it.

  21. My blog has indeed been deleted. I had the option of pressing a single button to appeal it, which I did and I am awaiting the decision on whether or not I get it back. Around June 14th, I had over 1 million hits which was not organic, I am thinking every one of those reported my blog. Big organization or State actor?

    • Huh? I don’t delete posts. Even the ones people send to me by email. Wild, wild West does most of the heavy lifting on Gunday Monday and I just post them on a template and schedule the post. I do add some as I come across them scraping the bottom of dumpsters and grease buckets looking for memes to entertain and repulse those with weaker stomachs…
