Ten years ago? Sure! Today? Nope, I take too many drugs. Well, come to think of it, I wouldn’t have survived infancy and childhood because of allergies. Then, you add in things like smallpox, pneumonia, and other fun human frailties…
I hitched around ‘Merica off and on from 16 to 21, living outside, working odd jobs, and I can tell you in no uncertain terms, in just 50 years, wildlife, foragable fauna, and water sources have been devistated.
This is a marked difference between what the “pioneers” would’ve experienced in an environment, The Great Depression too. Nature no longer exists as it was to support people.
I would probably survive if I had to step outside to live today, so I would’ve probably made it as a Pioneer too.
Yes. I have skills and knowledge and do enjoy doing things “the old ways”. But, I am 66 now and that would make things a bit more difficult. My wife is dependent on medication not that she would have survived childhood. Although my children all learned many of the skills needed I do no think they would survive very long. Unless they gathered and we worked together.
Yes. Next question?

Only as a cannibal….
Funny how a Government always survives and they are the cause of everything evil.
