  1. I thought the first woman on the moon was Alice Kramden back in the Fifties.

  2. …been watching and listening to NASAs live stream since the launch.
After listening to her, I’m convinced that she is the stereotypical “woke”, DEI hire.
Her statements and commentary throughout the mission have been either nonsensical blathering or PC platitudes.
Also noted that females are DISPROPORTIONATELY represented in the command center. Most of the fields associated with those roles are traditionally heavily male dominated, yet I’ve seen well over half of the personnel is female.
Almost ALL of the talking heads they’ve had as “representatives” on the stream have been female and their speech patterns and “emotional phrasing” remind me of nothing so much as a bunch of HR “Karens”.
One exception: The one “gal” they’ve had as their “main” commentator?
    Sorry…that’s a man, baby!
The new head of NASA, Jared Isaacman (a stellar and competent individual from what I’ve seen.), appears to have his work cut out for him going forward trying to “undo” what Obama and company has done to the organization.

    • Work for a NASA contractor. The civil service management hate life right now. They cannot push the woke agenda nearly as hard and as far as they did under FJB and Obama. No special group of the month, no pride flags at the front gate. No continuous messaging pointing out the differences between folks.
The new administrator seems to be focused on the task of rebuilding the agency based on technological capability, and a back to basics approach. I like what I’m seeing in this respect, but, He has his hands full, and will be fought at every turn by those who want to take shortcuts and use the agency as a woke government jobs program.

  3. There are LOT of people that know the principle of “respect the (rank, position, uniform, etm.), even if you don’t like the person”. The juvenile behavior those four exhibited during the call from the President of the United States is contrary to their expected role as professionals and examples for young people to follow. They demonstrated their lack of commitment to such principles, and their contemptuous display indicates serious lack of emotional control or sound decision making. This should be sufficient and appropriate grounds to dismiss them from any further association with any government funded endeavor, upon their return.
