    • I agree. IMNSHO, they hit their peak in 2006 and then started adding solutions in search of problems to their engines.

      • You must not live in the rust belt, I bought a ’99 and ’00 each for $500 with a cracked frame.

On the other hand, I found out a ’92 would keep going straight after jumping about 4 feet in the air at 55 like a trophy truck.

  1. FORD
    Fix Or Repair Daily
I drove my 1999 ChevyTahoe for 430,000 miles. The last day it was runing the engine and transmission both locked up as I pulled into the driveway. The engine spewed and the tranny just stopped solid.

I paid $450 for the truck brand new. I got lucky and got hired on to a data storage company and the company gave me a vehicle allowance, service allowance, meal allowance, fuel and travel allowance. Everybody else kept buying a new vehicle every year or so, I just pocketed $450.00 every month and tiurned in my recipts. The sad thing about this deal is when I retired the company quit sending me all the allowance checks.

    • I miss commission/bonus checks too. I guess that is part of the “retirement process”. LOL

  2. Looks like his fuel tank skidding down the street behind him, hope he was on the side tank selector.or he won’t get far. Nice launch though, should have backed up for a running start to reach the street before bottoming. 😉
