Bear Claw, My grand dog, Daisy, she has 2 sisters, one 5 months and one 2-1/2 years. She will only lick you to death

Ron M., Guy on the right of the pic is Sir Charles the Especially Cautious. Very likely saved my dumb ass about 25 years ago. Saw me in distress (rather massive myocardial infarction), ran to get Milady (pic left) who got me to emergency in time for some nitro and prep for stents. Strong woman.
Next memory I have after the lights went out was lying on an OR table with a nurse shaving a spot on my groin which I’d never considered shaving.
Came too again in a ward with a big tall Doc in a smock and a squad of interns in tow tryin to scare me into modifying my lifestyle, my diet, and my entire daily routine.
Good dog. Even better wife. She can cook. He could only eat. Long gone, now, but not forgotten. Aussie Shepherd. True gent.

We don’t deserve our Dogs.
Dogs are often a reflection of ourselves.
about 15 or so years ago. my buddy got divorced and started seeing this babe.
they stopped by and my old dog started to snarl at her. wouldn’t stop.
never went near the woman. just watched her EVERY move. in time, say 2 weeks or so, they broke up. and she moved on to another guy who she later on stabbed.
yup. she stabbed the guy. my buddy came by and said my dog could sense the evil in her and gave my dog a steak. after that, he always brought around every new one he was seeing for my dog to check out. he ended up married to the one lady my dog DID like and would sit by. they send us Christmas cards every year.
weird but true.
Not wierd Dave, they know. Give that dog an extra treat from me for saving your friend. Have a goodun puddin
kind of hard to do. he crossed the rainbow bridge a few years back. yeah. old Slim was a great dog. still miss his ass.
my buddy even sent me a bottle of really nice Scotch when I told him he passed. he was without a doubt the best watchdog I ever had. a big ass goofy as hell roadie ridgeback
he play in the snow until he was almost frozen and I had to drag his ass in. he flop in front of the woodstove until he steamed and then want out again. he loved kids. the smaller the more he did . if ever there was a kid, he would be near them. my neighbor grandkids love his ass. did things to that old dog I be scared to do and all he ever did was lick them harder. best thing I heard about him was when the kids Mom told me she never worried about her kids when Slim was out there with them.
Ron, my friend next door has one, sweetest dog, got to give her some free loving yesterday evening.
Daisy is my daughter’s dog. Got to see her and my granddaughters week before last.
My kids are all Texans now, I’m okay with that.
Beautiful dogs, beautiful story.
