That is one thing about the place that I work at, they buy really good toilet paper.
They get quality hand cleaner and quality paper products all the way around.
The Wifely Unit doesn’t fuck around with that stuff either.
On a related note, as someone who has worked as a professional food service manager, if I am curious about a new food establishment I haven’t been to before, and I’m wondering if I can trust how clean the prep area is in the back,…I go look at their restroom. There is a direct correlation between how well taken care of the restroom is and everything else they do. If the restroom isn’t clean, or appears to have been untouched is the last few hours,…I walk away, no matter how good everything smells in the kitchen or the rave reviews from others.
My career would sometimes only allow port-a-cans for taking care of business. The toilet paper was terrible. Some was rough, while some seemed to coated with wax. The worst was when there was none. Thievery was abundant, which made me wonder what type of person was so miserly they’d steal rolls of toilet paper that couldn’t have cost more than 20 cents. Their punishment for stealing the toilet paper should have been none for them, and none for any that tried to be kind and offer them some. Such animals are not fit to live with humans….and another thing: In one refinery by brother worked in, the port-a-can contractor wouldn’t clean them as required. The result was one being lit on fire, which caused all kinds of threats by the safety department. When the result didn’t alleviate the situation, another was lit on fire. That one showed everyone the seriousness of neglecting the basic needs of workers, and the port-a-cans were spotless from that point on.

“Walmart doesn’t care about you”
Feature, not a defect.
