Wut? Chocolate root beer float sounds like a shit combo, and Barq’s is lousy piss water root beer. Besides, unless you’re allergic to eggs, why even make a cake without them?
Well sure, if you want zero nutrition in your sugar bomb, go for it.
May as well throw in some whiskey too…
Nah. The ethanol evaporates during cooking
Get something compatible flavor wise and soak it in rum or bourbon after it’s cooled down
Sorry, I’m not a professional boozer….amateur yes !
Why would I want to ruin my cake with some of those soft drinks? There are only two that might make sense: the ginger ale/spice cake and the sprite/lemon cake. A better use of the spice cake mix is to add a drained tin of carrots, 8 oz of crushed pineapple, some chopped nuts, and a few raisins, if you want, and make a carrot cake. Another use for spice cake mix is to add a bunch of chopped apples and nuts.
Just bake a cake and soak it in Rum.
That’s dessert for when you’re done eating your Hot Pockets or fast food.
Has anyone actually tried any of these? I’m a bit skeptical as baking is chemistry and you need the right combinations of things for an edible end result.
