Just an updated version of the Green Dragon Tavern, the Federalist Papers and other pamphlets of a prior era. And yes, we find kindred souls from all walks of life through writing to one another, just happens faster than the 4 months back in the day (each way). The only downside is if all crashes and goes to hell, we will be back to HF radio, Morse code and the pony express.
