The Way It Should Have Been Since The Start

Multiple states are now denying the purchase of things like soda pop, chips, candy bars and other snack items using EBT cards.

Shit like this is coming to a screaming halt,

My heart bleeds purple peanut butter over it.

As people have been saying, this is EXACTLY what I voted for.

You can expect all these items in these states to be behind locked glass in 3…2…1.

Because we all know what’s coming next.

As if they aren’t doing it already.

Something else that needs to be addressed soon,

Shoplifting laws.

You can call me a racist all fucking day long.

I don’t give a rat’s ass.

It’s a huge fucking problem and it needs to be dealt with because it winds up affecting everyone.

  1. So long as they can buy cheap wine and beer (there’s a steak in every glass!).
Do your stores need to keep Rexona deodorant spray behind lock and key yet?

  2. RFKjr said it, we shouldn’t buy food that gives you health problems, that we then pay for treating. IMHO, If you expect me to buy your food, expect me to tell you what I will allow you to eat. Don’t like it, find a job and get your own money.

    • If you want the government to be your parents and give you an allowance, then they get to decide what you spend it on.
Just like when you were still living at home.

    • That or we go back to handing out “commodities”.
You know, government cheese, peanut butter, dried milk, etc.

      • That still happens. Back when I was in the Coast Guard I was able to qualify for WIC, even though I was an E-6 with over ten years in! Let’s not even get going on that part! We got actual “food stamps.” The were not allowed to be used for anything but what was listed on the coupons. We’d also be notified that “government cheese,” etc was being handed out at such and such a location. I moved up in rank and off WIC. I had to rank E-7 for my income to rise above that bar! Like I said, don’t get me goin’. When EBT cards started coming out, the likes of me said “What’s to keep them from using it to buy… whatever?… “OH, that’ll NEVER happen!,” said the powers that were. And yet, here we are…

Sic ’em, Donnie!!! And while you’re at it, how about paying our American fighting men and women a decent wage!!!

  3. I wonder.

Is this about health, as they say? Think about it: if Shawquina eats crap and dies…do you care..? I don’t.

Alternatively…could this be a harbinger of a collapsing welfare system? Because if Shaniqua and her crotch goblins start to actually starve…then they ARE going to be a problem, and an even bigger one than they are now. Perhaps this is an effort to induce sheboons to shop and eat responsibly?

If so it will fail of course. Africa always wins.

    • Shawniqua (get the name right, yo whiteass muthafucka) doesn’t just up and die. She gets really fat. Then she gets diabetes. And then coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease, both in part because of the diabetes (plus the being a BMI >35 sack of shit). Then she gets the sugar foot plus bad circulation (=impaired wound healing) which means multiple hospital admissions (at $5 to 10k a pop). After several years of that misery they have to chop off the necrotic mess that used to be a foot. Infections, two-week ICU admissions at $50 to 100k. Then diabetic kidney disease and 3x weekly dialysis. Not only do we pay for the dialysis itself, we pay $500 each way for her to get to and from home to the dialysis center, because she caint drive and caint take no bus on account of Shawniqua only GOT one damn foot, so it’s an ambulance ride each way. THAT’s why I care.

I’d say lace the snack food with contraceptives, but that’s too much like Bill Gates wanting to put “vaccine” in the general food supply. So maybe we offer $500,000 cash money up front to any childless Shawniqua who agrees to a hysterectomy. If she gots one already, $300k, and so forth.

      • I was going to say the SAME THING!!! ,,,Except the last part… Get rid of WELFARE! Give Shawniqua the choice of working or starving, of “saying no,” and figuring out how to feed that next kid herself! It worked throughout the history of humanity until Johnson declared “war on poverty…”

‘Ever notice how there’s never enough money for Social Security, but ALWAYS enough money for Welfare?…

  4. I’ve been shopping at the same grocery store for over thirty years. Recently, I saw a sign on the entrance door that stated “Shoplifting will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law”. Coincides with a recent up tick in the two you know who demographic locally.

    • That sign will be a great deterrent to the ones that can:
      A) read
      B) plan more than 15 minutes into the future
      So good luck.

I’m looking forward to the unintended consequences the soda ban will have on nonchain convenience stores. It’s a well known scam where the local meth heads (or whatever) buy up soda at Kroger or Meijer with their EBT. They then sell it for cash at 50 cents on the dollar value to Ramesh at the Quik-E Mart. Ramesh then sells the individual bottles or cans at $2 or $3 each.

    • The Wally World in my town has those signs. They’re about as effective as spit on a refinery fire. I watched a female Dindu walk out of the place with a FULL CART OF GROCERIES. One of the employees tried to stop her but the manager just said “Let her go.” Then, after having to check myself out, I was required to show my receipt before leaving the store…

It’s like that… And things won’t change until “that” changes…

      • At that point, the groceries belong to you. You do not have to show a receipt. Now, they can call the police, but that is an issue for them since you did pay. I tell them no and keep walking. This is true unless at a Sam’s or Costco. There, you did agree as part of membership.

        • The few times I buy anything at Wally World, as I leave the “greeter” looks over, sees an old fat White guy, with gray hair and gray beard, with old IDGAF cargo pants and t-shirt, with a suspicious bulge at the belt line, and just gives me a friendly wave and says “thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart”. I can’t remember the last time I had them try to check my receipt. Maybe I just look honest. Or White.

  5. There is no fixing any of it. There is only collapse, death and dystopia.
Keep a firearm or three nearby. For mood musik, try Lunatic Fringe.
    Your inspirational message this morning.

      • The psycho side of me is foaming at the mouth for it to kick off properly, so I have to respectfully disagree with the statement that it won’t be fun.
        It’ll be orgasmic.

  6. Once a week at the city hall in my little town there’s a food giveaway. People line up in their cars, they don’t even have to get out and are given bags of food that I guess are staples, soups etc. Last week, a brand-new Escalade with the sticker still in the window was in line and there was a Range Rover behind it. Most of all the cars are always brand new models. I suppose I could get in line with my 22 year old truck but something is stopping me.

    • yeah this burns my butt. Seeing the poor, impoverished welfare “gimme dat” class in brand new Escalade or similar transport. Town near where I used to live is filled with amish, and many, many driveways have brand spanking new high-end vehiculars in them.

  7. Originally food stamp recipients couldn’t buy soda, candy or restaurant food with the stamps.
I’d be pleased if the EBT program was changed to require sterilization of all mothers and fathers who receive benefits after two offspring. No, Shaniqua, that isn’t racist because it would apply to all races of people.

  8. I have relatives in your area Phil, and they tell me of another grift on the EBT cards. Bums are buying cases of bottled water with EBT, taking them out to the parking lot, dumping the water, and taking the empty bottles in for the $0.10 deposit on them to do whatever they want to with cash. Calling it “water dumping”, and the libtard politicians are starting to talk of getting rid of the bottle deposits.

  9. back when I was a kid, we had two nice supermarkets in the area. then they built
the “projects” . low income housing, they said. right. guess who moved in ?
YUP. inside of a year after filling it up. you had to lock up anything you wanted to keep. and then there was the gangs of thugs roaming around. fights where a everyday thing after that. anyway, one supermarket closed down- guess why ?
and the other one kept ONE door open with 2 guards there. didn’t help or matter
got to talking with one of the managers there and he told me as soon as it hits 5 grand a month in “lost” they closing. that happened about 3-4 months later.
white flight, you bet ! anyone that could, did. my one buddy owned a corner store and when some 13 year old kid came in with a EBT card to buy junk food.
and her friend, also 13 asked her how she got the card. she said, easy, have a baby and they give you one ! he sold out about 6 months after that. he said the system is fucked and we are doomed with this shit.
and the last time I was there was over 8 years ago now and everything is behind plastic as the new owners don’t play with them.
BTW, they have been buying junk food and hot food for years in Philly with the EBT cards.

  10. A few years ago, was with my wife in a seafood store, waiting on some steamed shrimp. In the parking lot pulls a brand new Escalade. Female driver gets out, dressed to the nines, new hairdo and manicure with nails 2 inches past her fingers. She walks in, orders 2 bushels of crabs, 15 lbs of steamed shrimp, and several other types of seafood. While we wait, a friend of hers walks in, and they start talking about the party they are having later, and to be sure to invite some other friends. Multiple hundreds of dollars in seafood ordered, she produces an EBT card to pay for it all.

Wife was beyond pissed. I kinda figured it was going to happen when she started ordering. it was not surprising to me when she pulked out the card. Just shook my head. Wife commented afterward that the card was intended to pay for food to feed her kids for the rest of the month, not to throw a weekend party for her friends. The Escalade, the expensive clothes, and the high-dollar hair and nails added to the outrage.

Sadly, the rules allowed it, legal, but not right.

Wife worked for Child Support Enforcement years ago, she has some stories.

    • My state used to use food stamps. But somewhere along the way someone decided that was giving the recipients badfeelz, so they started issuing VISA debit cards instead.

  11. Have as many kids as you want, the benefits need to be capped or scaled back sharply to de-incentivize having kids to increase the check.

The system is rigged to allow the abuses outlined in this thread. This is a feature, not a bug. You get what you tolerate. Fortunately, folks are starting to catch on., and changes are being made.

I’m all for helping folks out when needed, not much on mandatory, permanent, multi-generational funding of poor life choices.

    • Sorry, I could only watch about 20 seconds and I was headed for my Mossberg with the extended tube and my ruck sack with more slugs and buckshot and wanted to hunt that whore and the other whores down and remove their EBT privilege…

  12. This has been going on for at least 45 years. WLOX ran a story about a woman in a brand new yellow cadillac who was buying multiple cartloads of food, using foodstamps, at the local A&P. The story was generated by some sailors’ wife who wondered how someone who qualified for foodstamps could drive a brand new caddy or need that much food. The reporter wasn’t able to interview her as she refused, but she did have her 6 kids with her.

  13. Shoplifting affects prices more than Tariffs ever will…people think the store absorbs that cost, just like all the shopping carts that are stolen and used by homeless.
All those losses are passed along to the consumers.

  14. Table at the local weekend flea market has nearly every brand of laundry detergent for sale. Didn’t think much about it the first few times I saw it. One day, saw a guy walk up to the table with a bunch of walmart bags, and starts restocking the table.

Best guess is he’s buying the items on ebt, and selling, pocketing the cash.

Always seems to have customer traffic at his table.
