This was my favorite spam email for some reason. I wonder if the spam was targeted by the title of the post. As he said to his cubicle mate, “this guy will definitely click on parenthesis boobs, he is an uncultured lout…”

Hey, CQ, you guys still on WordPress, perchance? If so, there’s a couple good plugins for that, including the one I use, called “Anti-spam by CleanTalk.” You might consider getting New User Approve and Anti-Spam Bee also, altogether they’ve brought my spam infestations down to zero, literally.
Been getting spam comments like those for years on WorpDress. The Akismet filter is pretty good, only a few slip through into the “pending approval” file, but they’re easy to spot and vaporize.
I believe the “Documenting The Death Of America” part got the bots / trolls excited!
Tried deleting it for a week and see what they do.
Are they from specific domain or IP range?
