Jennifer Runyon, a tv and movie actress in many 80’s roles died a few days ago of some undisclosed turbo cancer. She was only 65. While she is best known for other roles, I remember her best as the lovely “Vikie” in the 1988 film “The In Crowd”, a nostalgic look at the early 1960’s Dick Clark style teen dance shows.
She is just another number now along with the many thousands of anonymous and ordinary people who are dying mysteriously of rapid progression cancers decades ahead of normal life expectancy.
