LOL…Back in the ’40s my grandparents had just gotten their first washing machine. My mother missed a red sock, and all the white flannel nightgowns got dyed pink. My grandmother was raising hell with my mother when my grandfather stepped into the room, listened a bit, and said he thought the pink nightgowns were a nice change.
