Superbowl Shocker!

I’m trapped.

The Wifely Unit is a SportsBall lunatic and if I wasn’t sitting here with her, she would be all alone to watch it by herself.

The Kid either had other plans or has to work.

Otherwise they would both be yelling and screaming and I would be out in the garage avoiding all of it.

I could care less about SportsBall but it’s at least something we can talk about and enjoy each other’s company over.

While we were waiting for the game to start, a commercial came on and within 30 seconds BOTH of our jaws were hanging wide open.

In this day and age of Woke bullshit, they actually played a super Patriotic commercial!

How sad is it that we were both shocked to see it?

Really, really sad but there it was.

It’s a commercial wrapped around Johnny Cash’s Old Battered Flag and we were both extremely glad to see SOMEONE, had the balls to put it on the air.

It’s about fucking time.

In case you missed it, here it is.

  1. We really are different. I, on the other hand, couldn’t care less about sportsball.

    • I detest all sportsball and have never in my life willingly watched more than 10 mins, total, and that was only because the friend I was visiting or the establishment I was patronizing had it on. Unbelievably boring, and anymore, slammed with negro everything.

And who needs an excuse to spend time with their spouse? Yes, I wrote the book. 39 years this coming Sat.

This country is so fucked up it will never get fixed.

  2. I had the tube on when this was shown, have to agree, this is a shocker. And about fucking time, as you correctly said.

    • So, I looked up the commercial, and his song was also used in 2017 for the pregame, didn’t know about that.

  3. Ahh, hate to be a spoil sport, what psych op are they playing to be Patriotic for, WW3? War with Russia? They did this back in WW1 and in WW2. Are they girding us up?

    • Actually, when I did the digging to find out about it, they have played it for the Sportsball before. That really surprised me. They made a different commercial using the same voice over in 2019.
I found it because the first search result was about a bunch of libtards whining about it.

  4. Phil,
I don’t watch football either (I also leave that to my wife), but I saw this, and it certainly got dusty in my home

  5. Due to the Super Bowl being held in Arizona, the final score will unfortunately not be calculated and publicly available for 2 weeks.

  6. Sucker video, but outstanding, so they can catch you with the rest.

I have to admit I watched the game (not before, not halftime and not after) and rooted for the Chiefs. They are the only team I watched this year, most games I’ve watched in a long long time.

Yes I have gone the way of sports ball caring

Why did I watch them. Because from the head coach on down (hunts are trash) they have carried themselves well. World class people in my opinion.

Nobody in negative news as far as I know. Quarterback publicly proclaims his Christian beliefs and that Mahomes is funny and damn good bonus he came from the big 12. As well as many other players and that POS Tyreek Hill is gone (my alma mater kicked his sorry ass off the team for punching his girlfriend, actually his teammates did).

Alas sportsball will go by the wayside again.

    Have a good week.

  7. It was pretty sad to see all the white cucks standing for the “black national anthem”.
What is ihis, the f*cking Congo?

  8. I did not see this play. It must have been during the pregame that we didn’t watch. Wish I had seen it. Interesting also that the Disney commercial was 100% pre-woke Disney.

  9. Things like this always tear at me. I pledged to that flag. Had family die under it. Only to have our representatives wipe themselves with it.

In spite of it’s history, my devotion is slowly turning to my state. Much like was normal, pre-1860’s. It’s a rotten mentality, but it’s where I am right now.

    God, save the US.

  10. I missed this. I turned off the Wakandabowl after the “black” national anthem” was sung during the pregame show. My wife, a naturalized citizen born in Mexico City, heard the aforementioned song and started to cry. She told me that it was as if these people came, planted their own flag on our soil, and claimed it for themselves alone. It didn’t matter what came afterward, as the NFL made its intentions and views clear at the start. The only thing it heard from my house was the “CLICK” of the TV going dark…

…My wife may have been born in Mexico, but she TRULY DOES bleed RED, WHITE, and BLUE!!! This old retired vet is damned proud of her!

    • Tom like my former Venezuelan neighbor also naturalized make better Americans than a lot of natives. We grow up with these blessings and generally take them for granted where they did not and most have seen the other side.

  11. The glories of a dying or dead nation.

Our children will curse us. Our ancestors would be ashamed.

  12. Made a tear come to my eye.

I’ve come to the point where god is going to have to sort it all out.
