lots of those in my extended family particularly those families with several kids. I spent a lot of time going to our ball games, to town, the beach and all other kid places packed into one of those. Back when America was “The land of the free and the home of the brave.” —ken
Ken, there’s a “coming of age” movie called The Way Way Back – and it centers around a family going to a summer seaside town in, you guessed it, a station wagon. Skip the movie.
Owned 3 of em between 74 and 92, wish I had kept the 65 Impala with the 327 Corvette engine, 8 passengers or 6 and 4 kegs of beer. Fun times.
