A St. Louis woman was killed on Saturday night after she slid off the roof of a Cadillac Escalade while twerking and was run over by a St. Louis fire truck heading to an emergency.
The woman, identified as Nyla Simmons, was killed at the intersection of South Compton and Chouteau around 11:30 PM.
Nila slid off the roof when the Escalade turned left. She hit the cement and was then run over by the fire truck.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police released this statement on Sunday morning.

And nothing of value was lost. Absolute brilliance on display. Who dances on the roof of their vehicle? Modern vehicles have sheet metal so thin that the weight of an adult “twerking” on it would start caving it in.
Also, that police statement:
“Moments later, she was struck by a fire truck who (who? He’s on first) was going lights and sirens responding to a call.” Good God, the lack of literacy. I’d expect an account like that from a witness at the scene, not from the police dept spokesperson.
