So good I had to post it here. H/T to Midwest Chick! Non-Original Rant

So nice we aren’t… We can use hollow points, and we do not have to attend their wounded or keep them alive. Everything is off the books. No Rules! Just remember, we don’t get protection under the Convention, so act accordingly.

    • And so can the families of those who make an attempt on us, as well as the attackers themselves.

  1. well, dum dum bullets work very well. drill a nice hollow or cup and then split it
like a cross going down to the base of the cup. back in the day of brass shotgun shells, we used to pry up the cardboard disc and pour melted ham fat/juice on top of the buckshot. that did increase the range by a good 40 yards and still hit like a brick thru a plate glass window !
if the rule of law does break down, plan on it getting really bad as people will use the time to settle scores against others. food, ammo and medical will be the most important items in your life.
BTW. check out any good history book and you will see the left has always put people they don’t like up against the wall. or in front of a big ass ditch.
    it just what they do,,,

    • Just for fun, pull open the top of a shotshell and fill it up with hot glue. A fine time will be had by all! You can do like the raghead heatherns, mix some rat poison in with it.

  2. That “Geneva Convention” stuff works both ways….military troops can do whatever they wish to non uniformed combatants. And they will be allowed to decide what constitutes a “combatants”.

  3. Qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum.

Translation: may he who desires peace prepare for war.

And to hell with rules of engagement.

  4. ROE from someone that knows.

“The truth is, in this kind of terrorist/insurgent warfare, no one can tell who’s a civilian and who’s not. So what’s the point of framing rules that cannot be comprehensively carried out by anyone? Rules that are unworkable, because half the time no one knows who the goddamned enemy is, and by the time you find out, it might be too late to save your own life. Making sense of the ROEs in real-time situations is almost impossible.”

    Marcus Luttrell, Lone Survivor

Easier to follow ROE in a somewhat, more or less civilized, structured society. But that’s not what we are talking about here, or did you miss that nuance.

    • Sounds like a quote from Eddie Gallagher, serial killer. Bravery is only one essential trait. So is training, intelligence and mental health. A brave psycho is a dangerous.
