I suppose you can add Grafitti Artist to the long list of Mr. Boones accomplishments.
Here’s a fun fact, he was an ancestor of mine on my Mother’s side of the family.
A distant cousin but related none the less.

Odds are it’s the real deal!
Great find….
If you ever get the chance to visit the Boone home in Missouri, it is a real treat. The man was a fabulous finish carpenter/woodworker.
#19 I liked Cowboy.
Was that man poachin squirrels on private or goobermint land? Published the pin please.
Fess Parker was a distant cousin of mine, does that count?
I’ma gonna say yes.
Thanks Charles, always wanted one of those coon skin caps back then.
I had one of those coonskin caps when I was a kid. 🙂
I wore it ’til it wore out.
Yesterday while visiting the FREEDOM250 mobile museum I seen a 13 yr old kid wearing a coonskin cap with tail. Underneath that was a mohawk haircut.
He was polite an attentive as I conversed with him and parents.
Where is this? I thought she said Floyd County so I looked that up and there has to have been a half dozen of those. Kentucky? Georgia? North Carolina?
Kentucky
Thanks!
So, you’re related to Paladin?
“…his father was descended from a brother of frontiersmen Daniel Boone and Squire Boone.”

Great actor. Long time no see Elmo how the hell are you.
Hi, BC. Thanks for asking.
I reckon I’m doing the same as everybody else… laying low and trying to stay sane here in Gavie’s Utopia.
BTW, being related to Fess Parker does count. Did you know about his winery that his son and daughter are now running?
He was a very smart man and shrewd businessman.
Fess also put up the money to found Firestone Walker brewery. The Parker and Firestone families have been friends for a long time. I think they are also intertwined by marriages.
I met Fess once. There is nice as a celebrity, then there is that true heart grace. Dan Haggerty, John Goodman, and Fess Parker, each who I have had sit down conversations, are possessed of that genuine grace and upstanding character.
I am glad you asked and glad that Elmo answered. There is a small number of people from the blogs I try to keep up on. Nothing sketchy, just a friendly interest.
Through the website, Pilots Of America, I have met IRL over 30 people. Some have become good friends. And we share interests in many subjects such as shooting irons.
A good number of people have very fascinating histories and interests besides being a remarkable person Blogs and such may lead to introductions of what may become lifelong friends
