It’s The Logistics, Stupid

In case you haven’t been paying attention,

First it was the Nordstream pipeline getting blown up, cutting off the natural gas to Europe.

Then yesterday it was a critical bridge to Crimea that got blown up, screwing Ivan’s supply route all to hell.

Now today, we have this,

BREAKING – SABOTAGE! Two Communications Lines (GSM-R) Cut in Germany – Rail Services in Northern Germany Suspended

Seeing a pattern here yet?

Are you even remotely ready for this type of thing to start happening here at home?

Because pResident Poopy Pants and the team of Commies running the show have got all kinds of SF forces and of course the See Eye Aye running around in the Ukraine stirring shit up for Ivan and IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME until Putin gets fed up and decides what’s good for the Goose is good for the Gander.

As decrepit and decaying as ALL of our infrastructure is, one well placed BOOM will fuck this entire country.

If you think we have supply chain problems now, toss a major bridge across the Mississippi into the river or blow a rail line out in the middle of nowhere and see what happens then.

Cut a communications cable?

FUBAR.

The odds of something like this happening here are going up every day that we keep stirring the shit over in the Ukraine.

Something I’m positive The Sniffer In Chief has absolutely no idea of how to deal with.

But hey, still no mean Tweets, right?

A Simple PSA

Pay attention here.

That “E” on your gas gauge DOES NOT stand for “ENOUGH”.

MMMMkay?

Now if I could just get that through to The Wifely Unit.

I swear she is as bad as my dear departed Mother was 45 years ago.

At least she had the excuse of being dead broke all the time.

My Wife?

Not so much.

She ran around all day, walks in the door 15 minutes after I got home from work and announces that her Gas Light is on.

So naturally I ask, how long has it been on Dear?

“I don’t know”.

” I went to my sisters, took The Boy to the doctor, stopped by Fred Myers (to get some damned thing) and then noticed it on my way home”.

“I was praying to just get home.”

Praying to get home so my husband can take care of this shit is what she didn’t say.

So potentially the damned thing really could be empty at this point.

I went out in the shed, grabbed the gas can for the lawn mower, put 1/2 of it in and headed out to the same gas station she passed on the way home, knowing the gas light was on.

I paid EXACTLY one more dollar per gallon than I did just last week when I filled up my truck and put 10.8 gallons of gas in a 12 gallon tank, AFTER I had just dumped at least 1/2 a gallon in at home.

She was lucky this time, “E” was just barely, “ENOUGH”.

I don’t like playing that game.

Update;

Reader Greg put a fine point on it.
