Old Truck Tuesday

1)

Phil should like this, a Bubblenose Pete. Elmo.

2)

I owned and operated this fine old truck from ’83 to ’85 after having driven it for four seasons for its previous owner. I decided to take my life in a different direction in ’88 and went to work in the woods. Elmo

  1. Nice roundup as usual. The old man worked for a custom built firetruck company back in the mid 70’s. The goldleaf lettering was still being done by hand back then and it was amazing to watch. Now, it’s all applied vinyl.

  2. Great set. I need that BBQ truck but it needs a firebox for when gas is outlawed

    • The tilt up cover on the BBQ truck will reflect a lot of heat back at the cook,

  3. Ever see the episode of Roadkill where they bought one of those, then thrashed on it? I didn’t even feel bad when they grenaded the transmission.

  4. How did the guy who built the BBQ Tanker not get a radio commercial for Real Men Of Genius, back before Bud went all pro-tranny? Or at the very least, a commemorative U.S. postage stamp.
