Looks like you went loco on this one, CederQ.
Thanks!
May be late, but there are some interesting locomotives!!
Cuyahoga Valley Railroad!!
Central RR of New Jersey RS-3 looks like it just came out from the paint shop. Will be filthy as all get out in about a week like all road switchers.
Nice
Two from the Durango and Silverton Narrow Guage Railroad, 480 and 482. Nice.
Both locomotives are still operational. Both have been converted from coal to oil.
I gotta go ride that line one of these days.
Nice collection today. Especially that enclosed steamer with the silver end cap – I don’t know what the proper name for that part is.
I’m curious about that monster with the machinery attached to the front.
Rode one of them when I was a kid on family vacation it was really cool
That railroad has been in tons of movies. It’s pretty unmistakable because of the canyon it runs in. Beautiful country.
If I’m not mistaken the river it runs next to is the Animas River, which is the one Obama’s EPA allowed to run yellow. What a complete SNAFU that was.
used to watch the erie going through the delaware water gap. amazing.
