  1. well, really any good shotgun will do. I do have both a 590 and a 870 that work very well for “social work”. about 2 years ago, I pick up a CZ 712 when it was on sale.
very nice shotgun for “social work” after a few mods done to it.
extend the magazine tube to hold 7 rounds and a better bolt handle
the really neat thing is I can unload it really fast. and it shoots slug out to 100 yards
well. 5 rounds inside a 12 inch paper plate!
    I like it !
and both of my girls are married now.

    • My father’s 1100 was the biggest POS ever – right out of the box. You could spit in the boat and the friggin’ thing would jam. It went back to Ilion several times. I doubt it has seen more than a couple of boxes through it in 40 years. His 500 Mossy keeps on hammering away. We are talking TEN of THOUSANDS of rounds, between skeet and hunting. When it absolutely needs to die, he grabs the Mossberg.
I own several Mossbergs – 500, 930, and 835. Never had an issue with any of them. The only Remington I own is a Model 17 22LR, bolty.
My current trap gun, however, is a Stoeger M3000 Sporting. It’s been called the Turkish Benelli, by several magazines. Inertia driven, so it runs clean and cycles fast. I like it very much.

      • I’m extremely fond of my 930!
5 shots in less than 3 seconds.

I need to get an extended mag. Just because.

    • “Looky here. I’ve got a shotgun, a backhoe, forty acres and I’m not afraid go back to jail.”

  2. Why dig a hole? That leaves DNA evidence. A swamp with alligators will take care of DNA issues.
