On a similar note, just got back from Sam’s; coffee is up about 25% and it would seem we are going to have another Covid “outbreak” from the aisles of stacks of shit-tickets. Canned chicken is up about 50%. Everything is more expensive, but seems to be well stocked. We’re all gonna be skinnier this time next year…
You’ll find differing names for popsicle, depending on the country and region. I think that Poms call them ice-lollies, which is descriptive too. In northern parts of the great south land, we call them a By-Jingo, which itself is an olden times British exclamation phrase. I assume it was originally a brand name, adopted into common use to denote any ice confection.
