One I heard years ago, but not since, was “makes my toes buzz” meaning feeling good or excited about something.

Hit your finger with a hammer and ‘Bugger’ you can get away with almost anywhere.
‘Bugger Me’ is common, it means similar to ‘i’ll be jiggered’ would have 40 years ago, a version of ‘well i never’.
Careful though cos buggering is shafting someone up the arse (ass), so don’t be shouting ‘bugger me’ in the wrong place.
‘You Silly Bugger’ is an affectionate term for your friend of either sex.
Remember Brits take the piss (gentle teasing) out of people they know and like, if you don’t have the piss taken out of you by your colleagues then you arn’t liked.
Decent places to work, like mine, we take the piss out of each other mercilessly, woke places such as national or local govt jobs that would be unacceptable which is probably why they are almpst exclusively staffed by otherwise unemployable pointless people, not quite as bad the govt and leaders of national institutions but a close run thing.
