  1. You have to drink enough of it to get past the taste of bourbon, but.
I do recommend that you Yanks try some good Scotch whisky or the even better Irish whiskey, or, if you really are a confirmed bourbon drinker, perhaps try a little turpentine to cleanse your palate.
Strewth, to think that people criticise the Russkis for drinking cheap vodka, at least it’s not the alternative paint thinner that bourbon aspires to be.

    • Johnny Walker Black or if you’re inclined to spend a little more, their fairly new Green label is excellent. Of course if you have the financial wherewithal, you can’t beat their Blue Label, if you’re a scotch drinker.

As to Jack Daniels … well if you like drinking something that rips your taste buds and throat out, indulge. Their Gentleman Jack is pretty good. At least it doesn’t try to kill you when swallowing.

      • Johnnie Walker is crap whisky ! there are 2 types of scotch.
one, the crap made in the millions of gallons and stored in some basement for 10-12 years to protect the name of Scotch whisky and the 2, the good or real stuff.
made with love in small batches
try Macallen or something close to it if you want to taste real scotch whisky. JW always great PR.
but it does taste and smell bad, no matter what the label
        was/is.

        • Dewars for the daily back in the day, Glenlivet for the weekends. Had to quit but I still miss it, sample every now and then. Gotta die sometime.

  2. A guy I worked with had what he called the Budweiser scale. The basic unit was the case adn told you how many cases it took to make her beautiful.

  3. Trust me when I say that Women, ugly or not, DO NOT want any man who looks like that. That would be like trying to find the ass end of a porcupine to kiss. You couldn’t get most women drunk enough to bed that.

  4. I seem to recall that Jack Daniel’s cannot legally be called “bourbon” by virtue of the fact it is not distilled in Kentucky. It is identified on the label as “Tennessee Whiskey”
