When working after weekends and vacations I was always glad to get back to work where it was safe and I could rest. Now everyday is Wednesday and I get out weekdays to take care of business because the peoples are out and about on weekends.
I’ve been feeling like that for about 2 weeks now. I’d give anything to have a good weekend just to have fun.
Weekends are for recovery!?!? I thought it was for working overtime (kids have outgrown their clothes again) and getting ALL the domestic chores done, so maybe you could start Monday with a clean slate.
Retired now. Every day is the weekend. Which is good as Saturday is the day I need rest from now. Oh well. Work or die.
I took today off, going back to the homeland for a weekend off.
I hit 50 tomorrow so maybe a little fun with the recovery moonshine…
