The greatest white men to ever live? They (my ancestors) lost to a US military that was mostly white with 13% minorities.
Combined population of Germany, Italy and Japan in the 1940’s was around 180 million. Roughly the same as the US (133 mil) Britain (47 mil)
History is hard and it’s even harder when you are bad at math.
Germany was beaten by superior numbers of men and quantity of equipment fighting a war on two fronts. Second dumbest move in modern war history. The first was when Napoleon attacked Russia. Both kicked off their attacks near the end of June and were beaten by the Russian winter.
Japan was beaten with numbers of and superior equipment, the tenacity of the U.S. Marines and the Bomb.
Italy? ppfffftt. The only thing they had going for them was extremely difficult terrain to attack.
the really fucked up part about history is AFTER ww2, we owned 2/3 of the world’s gold supply. yup. we where very well off by any standard. so, how in hell did we go from that to having a debit of almost 40 trillion dollars in what 60/70 years ?
seems to me that a whole lot of people had to be stealing every damn dime they could get their hands on. I remember when my parents got pissed as hell about LBJ and congress taking the social security fund and rolling it into the “general fund”. about 1967 I think it was. at that time, it was FAT with funds.
NOW ? all we hear about is it going broke.
I remember that a new car was 3-4 grand after high school. and now you paying over 20 grand to get anything. as I tell people it not that gold has gone up in value as much as it is your dollar not worth 1/10 of what it once was.
so what is the point of even having a saving account in any bank ?
soon the dollar will hit rock bottom- worthless. and that is why I always told people that “stuff” is better than money. BTW, attacking Russia was Germany biggest mistake. over 60-70% of the German army died in the east.
