Meh, let ’em try. The thing that usually brings down authoritarian regimes is when they finally reach the point of outlawing humor and satire. The law cannot permanently suppress the natural human tendency to mock self important assholes. They can punish it when they see it, but such stinging criticisms rooted in truth are a fundamental part of human nature.
Look at what a few decades of PC has already begat, just with the kind of stuff that gets posted and commented on at sites like this. It’s quite likely there’d be far fewer sites like this saying the things that are said here, absent all the people with a stick permanently up their asses who stand there dour faced and purse-lipped, sternly saying “that’s not funny, and you can’t say that!”
