My Favorite Snack

I eat so many of these damn things every night after work that my farts smell just like ’em.

I go through a bag every couple of days and The Wifely Unit makes sure to get me through the week every time she goes shopping.

Lucky for her, she lays on the couch at night across the room watching TV so she doesn’t get Crop Dusted.

So, what’s your favorite snack?

  1. Pork Rinds are best, they don’t effect my Blood Sugar the way chips and crackers do. I like the salt and pepper flavor best.

  2. Chees-its. But only a few, and only in the afternoon. If I eat anything after 6 pm, I’m up all night with heartburn. Small dinner, nothing fried, finish before 6, take my meds, and no snacks is my basic ritual.

  3. Fun Yuns, but the cost of those now are ridiculous. $5 a bag – naw man, thats the cost of a cheap take-out burger. No time for that.

Wavy potato chips are eaten as is and inserted in sandwich – that works for me pretty well. Corn chips are fine and don’t need the fancy dusting flavors – plain corn is good enough. Goes great with a bowl of chili.

Pork rinds are great, but they don’t last long in our house. Two of us can eat a bag in one sitting when we are more than snack hungry.

  4. Got a partial bag of Chili Lime pork skins right beside me for those munchie times.
I use to LOVE corn nuts, but they’re far too rough on the teeth now.

  5. Homemadew Chex mix. Mrs. has been putting bacon in the mix of late. 5-stars, do like, do recommend, but absolutely N-O-T sharing!

  6. Oreo’s with mint creme filling.

Unless The Wifey Unit decides to make her famous Choco chip cookie with the secret ingredient. Them things are like cookie crack…

  7. I have a bag of these out in the garage. They go well with a beer when I’m out there working on projects. I use a pair of Vice Grips to close the bag. The Girlfriend saw that and just shook her head in disbelief.
