I let my cousin’s kid do some repair work on a sprayer in my shop. He was laughing about how he would purposefully misplace wrenches in a tool box in another guy’s shop. I told him if he did that in my shop he could leave now and he didn’t leave. I also tell the few who are privileged to use my shop that if they don’t know where they got the tool to lay it on the welding table and I’ll put it away where it belongs. Some dopes still try to put things back and I end up searching for the tools. The people who do that are not allowed back.
Especially when some people have no idea of what ‘bring it back when you’re done’ means … or they just don’t care.
