All my sibs think I’m nuts and I’m perfectly fine with that.

Yep, keeps them from involving me in their drama. I fookin’ hate drama. Sometimes I have to wonder if they ever left high school because that’s the usual level of BS. I’m in my 70’s. They’re all younger, but not much. One of the reasons I moved 50 miles or so from where I grew up. They can’t just “drop in” and start slingin’ their BS or trying to involve in their fights among themselves. That and out of sight out of mind.
The one they’re famous for, when they finally decide to call me, is “why haven’t you called?” To which I respond “last I checked, phones work from both ends.” That lights’em right up and I just laugh in their face.
Siblings, neighbors, everybody.
Peaceful that way.
