Remember rebuilding carburetors using ‘Carb Cleaner’? Do they even make that stuff anymore?
I doubt it. Unless it’s sold with a 17-page Haz-Mat contract.
Spray can carb cleaner or the gallon can with the little wire basket?
Got both in my barn and both get used – old car and old old tractor..
The current version of the gallon can of carb dip is essentially soapy water compared to the caustic formulation of the 80’s. It is almost totally useless. Hence why I’ve gone to an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning carb parts.
