The dress rehearsal for this is in Virginia. The newly elected Democrat majority in the General assembly is proposing removing all Mandatory Minimum Sentences on violent crimes and repeat offenses.
This on top of numerous tax increases, and the usual Democrat wishlist items…gun bans, abortion on demand up until delivery, tax the rich schemes, DEI, green new deal, free shit for their pet voters, and about a hundred other scams to further their power grab at the taxpayer’s expense.
They are also trying to ramrod a change to the state constitution to redraw the congressional election map before the 2026 midterms. to favor democrats 10 to 1.
We went from “The Virginia Way”, the gentlemanly practice of politics dating back to the founding, to “We are in charge here, follow our rules, pay your taxes, sit down and shut up” virtually overnight.
