  1. I’m the opposite. I lose shyte all the time and can’t remember where I put it.

  2. Conversely I have a friend who put on his glasses to look for the glasses he just put on.

  3. I have this same super power. Problem is, once I go get it, I can’t remember what I needed it for.

  4. Nowadays, I’d forget my balls if they weren’t in a little bag.

As for car keys and glasses … fuggetaboutit.

  5. I find exactly what I was looking for right after I get home with the second or third one I bought to replace it. ” I’ll put this right here, so I remember where it is…..awwww shit, there is the other one.”

  6. Flat spots without 2 or 7 layers of crap and no busted drill press with a broken leather drive belt or even a pile of beer cans in sight or a stuck arbor press?
    Qualifies as clean to me.

Had a much older cousin who retired from being a maintenance mechanic at the old Paulsboro refinery in NJ. His old home shop was something I wished I could’ve taken a picture of back when I last saw it in the early 80’s. Actual tarpaper shack with a mix of wood and dirt floor sections & all kinds of crap hanging from the rafters with a machinists lathe stuck off on one side. Full gas torch set too.
Stare at one spot long enough and you’d just keep finding more n more shit.

  7. I used to have an organized shop till I got ripped-off by some tweakers, lost almost twenty years of tools in less than 5 minutes. Now my shop is a total cluster-fuck with good shit mixed in with the crap that I never threw away. I kinda know where everything is, except for when I need it.
