  1. A gallon of 87 was $3.85 this afternoon in East Massholia. Down (abruptly) from $4.29 on Friday.

  2. Filled up the truck today, mid grade was 4.85, regular was 4.77, don’t use premium so didn’t check the price on that.

  3. Going across Western South Dakota, Eastern Wyoming and middle of the fuck central Montana it has been between 3.79 to 4.03 a gallon for 87 octane…

  4. Going down and coming back from Logan, we managed 20MPG in my daughters Honda Pilot, and we averaged just under $4.00 a gallon. $3.82 was the cheapest we could find in Missoula MT at Costco.

    • Why did you go out of the way to Missoula to Logan, why not take State 95 down through Idaho to I-84 down to Logan?

      • Did it exactly ONCE, the Wifey unit told me she/we will NOT go that way again – I personally like the drive myself!

  5. I drove out to Idaho from Floriduh last September to put my mom to rest.
Gas was about $3.50 on average .
My sister kept insisting that we needed to have a family reunion this coming summer. Told her , that by then gas would likely be $5 + , making such a trip pretty pricey for sure.
Time has told that tale, proving my prediction to be correct. I don’t even go into the fact that it worries me to be so far away from my preps these days ! Can’t even imagine being somewhere in Kansas and the Rooskies or who knows , pops an EMP overhead. That’d be my luck… Have enough stuff back at the swamp in Floriduh to last me and the old lady , the rest of our natural lives and be stuck in bum fuck Egypt with a dead ignition and no grid !
No thanks , think I’ll just stay close to home this year !
Went out and purchased twelve more quart jars of local honey yesterday.
Local outfit has chicken on sale for 59ยข a lb. , Think I’ll go get another hundred lbs.
Got like 150 gal of gas stored with stabilizer, it was bought at $2.75…

Guy has to look ahead these days hmmm.

  6. Here in central New England, the cheapest gas is $3.89 at a Mobil about five miles from me that is way out of my usual routes of travel. Close stations are averaging $4.25 for about 15 of them with the highest at $4.45 according to Gas Buddy. There are ~25 stations being reported on the local Gas Buddy page.

Can’t wait to go to camp this year. Gas prices in the local vicinity there are $4.30 – $4.50.
